I've shared multiple times just how challenging 2023 was for us as a company, but more specifically we lost over 250k in revenue, and I'm sharing with you today why that happened....

and how I course corrected so that the same thing doesn't happen to you.

If you've been following me for any amount of time, then you already know part of what makes an offer compelling is:

Having an irresistible offer: promise, process, price, risk-reversal, urgency, scarcity, and the context of you....

80% of your business growth relies specifically on how irresistible the offer is and who it's for which is why and how when you nail this your offer sells itself, it's fun to deliver, and easy to sell...

but this sometimes leads to mismanaged expectations and disappointment.

So, specifically we used to say "20k in 90 days or we'll work with you until you do...."

These type of guarantees WORK because:
1) Client acquisition costs go way down, and the offer will sell itself
2) Clients have been burned before so taking on the risk IS essential for the client who is right for the offer.
3) The process WORKS not just for me, but also for my clients....

Now, while a large percent of our clients get there, and do so fairly quickly, there are a portion of our clients who do not.

Why not?

Because there are a lot of contributing factors that we do not have 100% control over.

Meaning, we aren't picking your market, or the price point of your program, or how you choose to market the program. We do our best to guide you based on experience, but the decision ultimately comes down to you.

We also have zero control over your current skill level & experience, and we also have zero control over your work ethic, and the mental fortitude that is required to work through the inevitable disappointment.

Can you get up from no faster?

Because in order to hit the promised result, there will be a level of uncomfortable work that is required.

Why is it uncomfortable? Often because it is outside of what you're already doing and it's outside of your comfort zone - otherwise you wouldn't be in a problem.

If it was as easy and posting everyday and putting a buy button on your website, all of us would be celebrating the 4 hour work week, and that's probably not happening....

This doesn't mean spam DMing 100s of people, but it does mean increasing your visibility. Specifically, in leads and clients then growing your audience...

We like to use paid lead acquisitions which means we build a list of low ticket buyers so that we can scale with ads and then invite them to a premium offer.

So, the smart and successful coaches who put in the work necessary who are willing to guess, test, and assess - CRUSH it!!

Some clients come into the program and they have an offer that converts, an audience of 1,000 people who are real, and are literally one to tweaks away from 30k/mo....

On the flip side of that we have also worked with clients who are starting at ZERO.

They might have an idea for an offer, but haven't put it together or tested it out.

They don't have leads or an existing audience.

They have coached a few people, but never fully worked as a coach....

We absolutely LOVE working with clients like this because now we don't have to do any UNlearning....

We can just build a solid foundation which can lead to exponential results later down the line, so people don't have to burn out, they can adapt to work smarter not harder from the start.

At the same time, their timeline for success might look quite a bit different depending on circumstances like:

How comfortable are you posting content fast?
Fear around being cancelled or being judged?
Is there stress or pressure to financially make it happen?
What's your risk tolerance for ads?
How can you handle no?

And in my opinion, there doesn't really seem to be enough support to help people at the beginning they're just expected to figure it out on their own....

which can feel like being trapped in the box and the only way out is to read the directions on the outside.

Everyone has blindspots, and support can be the number one factor to figuring it out, so we love working with people at the beginning.

The timeline might look a bit different.

Not always, because ANYTHING is possible, but the work required to hit the result remains and the disappointment comes from mismanaged expectations...

So, it isn't a surprise that we've also worked with clients who didn't do the work, but still expected the results of someone who did....

Then when they didn't succeed in 7 days, instead of looking in the mirror, they pointed the finger at us...

which opened us to caring more about their business then they did, and it felt like we were the CEOs of MULTIPLE business except we couldn't fully make all the necessary decisions.

We can't do your pushups for you.

And I take full responsibility for it because it was ME who made the promise in the first place, and it's a good reminder for me that what is easy for me isn't easy for everyone.

So, this opened us up to very hard conversations and unnecessary disappointment because we'd have clients hit 10k or 15k and then be bummed out they didn't hit 20k.

So, while it can be hard to compete with a supplement company that steals or photoshops before and after photos saying they'll help you lose 100lbs in 100minutes....

it's just as challenging to compete with a 19 year old kid following the same advise as I did making the same promise when they probably haven't helped anyone else do it...

which won't stop them from making that promise, and then the coach might ghost you or burn you which only puts you farther away from your goal than closer, and then you feel less trusting of coaches?

and I know this because we have talked to A LOT of people who have had to learn these lessons the hard way.
