By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT
We collect two categories of information:
(a) Information You Provide Voluntarily. When you register for an account, complete a form, subscribe to a newsletter, place an order, enroll in a coaching program, or otherwise communicate with us, you may provide personal information including your name, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping address, payment information, and any additional details you choose to share. We use this information to provide and improve the Services, process transactions, communicate with you, respond to your inquiries, send service-related and marketing communications (subject to your preferences), and comply with our legal obligations.
(b) Information Collected Automatically. When you visit our websites or use our Services, our servers automatically collect non-personal technical information including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. We use this information for analytics, troubleshooting, security monitoring, and to improve user experience.
BSimpsonFitness does not store credit card information beyond what is necessary to complete a transaction. Payment processing is handled by our payment service providers in accordance with applicable industry standards (including PCI-DSS).
2. INFORMATION FROM META PLATFORMS (FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM)
If you choose to connect your Instagram Business or Creator account to the BSimpsonFitness Hub, we will receive limited information from Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta") in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms and the permissions you grant during authorization. This information may include: your Instagram account identifier and username, your connected Facebook Page identifier, public posts and engagement metrics (likes, comments, view counts) from public Instagram Business or Creator accounts you choose to research within the Hub, and a Meta-issued access token used to make authorized API calls on your behalf.
Purpose of Collection. We use this information solely to provide features within the BSimpsonFitness Hub, including content research, competitor benchmarking, and (where you separately enable it) publishing content to your own connected accounts. We do not use Meta-derived data for advertising to you, for profiling, or for any purpose unrelated to the features you have enabled.
Storage and Security. Meta access tokens and connected account identifiers are stored in encrypted form on our backend infrastructure (hosted by Supabase, Inc. and Vercel Inc., located in the United States). Tokens are transmitted only over TLS-encrypted connections and are never exposed to the client browser.
Third-Party Subprocessors. Public content you research using Hub features may be passed to our artificial intelligence service providers (Anthropic PBC, OpenAI OpCo LLC, and Perplexity AI, Inc.) for the limited purpose of generating content suggestions on your behalf. We do not authorize these subprocessors to retain or train on this data.
Retention. We retain Meta-derived information for as long as your account remains connected. When you disconnect your Instagram account from the Hub, or close your Hub account entirely, all associated access tokens are revoked with Meta and deleted from our systems within thirty (30) days.
Your Rights and Deletion Requests. You may disconnect your Meta-connected accounts at any time using the in-app disconnect control, which immediately revokes our API access. To request deletion of all Meta-derived data we hold, email [email protected] with the subject line "Meta Data Deletion Request." We will process such requests within thirty (30) days and provide written confirmation. You may also exercise the same rights directly through Meta by visiting your Instagram or Facebook account settings and removing the BSimpsonFitness Hub application.
Compliance. Our use of information received from Meta APIs adheres to Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies, including the limitations on use of platform data described therein.
3. SHARING AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share your information with:
(a) Service Providers and Subprocessors. We engage third-party companies and individuals to perform services on our behalf (for example, hosting, analytics, payment processing, email delivery, customer support, and the AI service providers described in Section 2). These parties have access to your information only to perform tasks for us and are obligated to maintain its confidentiality.
(b) Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process; to enforce our terms; to protect the rights, property, or safety of BSimpsonFitness, our users, or others; or in connection with an investigation of suspected fraud or illegal activity.
(c) Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the receiving party honoring the commitments made in this Privacy Policy.
